How many windows
A house or flat full of blinds is worth the journey anywhere on this list and well beyond it. A single small window a long way out may not be, and we would rather say so than take the booking and do it badly.
What the job needs
Conservatory roofs, long-drop period windows and motorised installations are worth travelling for, because they need someone who has done them before. A straightforward job a good local firm can do just as well.

- We visit and measure. Free, and we bring samples. About an hour for a typical home.
- You get a written quote. Itemised by window, with fitting included.
- The blinds are made to your sizes. We agree a fitting date with you.
- We fit them and clear up. Child safety devices fitted to BS EN 13120 where a chain is used.

No minimum in our core Essex and east London patch: a single bathroom blind is a normal job. Further out, tell us the postcode and how many windows and we will be honest about whether the trip makes sense for you.

Usually within a few days, including evenings and Saturdays. For areas further from Rainham we will suggest times that avoid the worst of the traffic, so we arrive when we said we would.
