Tall windows are the defining feature
The thing that separates a Camden job from an Essex one is drop. A first-floor front room in a Georgian or early Victorian NW1 terrace routinely has a window well over two metres tall, sometimes approaching three on a piano nobile.

Conservation areas and listed buildings
