What Brentwood jobs have in common

Rear extensions and bi-fold doors

Motorisation makes practical sense here
A run of five blinds across a rear elevation, operated individually by chain, gets opened once and then left. Motorised, they move together at a touch or on a timer, and the room actually gets used as intended. Battery tube motors need no wiring, which matters in a finished room; hard-wired motors are better where a builder is already on site. Fabric and finish matter more
In a room that has been designed rather than furnished, the blind has to sit with everything else. This is the one part of the process we will not rush: we bring samples, leave them with you, and you look at them in the actual room in morning and evening light before deciding. You can also order samples by post ahead of the visit.

Measure after the windows are in and the reveals are finished
Plastering, tiling and sill finishing all change the opening. Measuring before they are done is how a blind ends up 8 mm too wide.
Decide on motors before the wall is closed
If you want hard-wired motors, the cable has to go in before the plasterboard does. Tell us early and we will spec the positions; after that, battery motors are the retrofit answer.
